Today removable media have become one of the most popular types of storage devices around. However, this comes along with the serious security threats to the business as in facts that 99% of users who use mobile devices to transfer data use no encryption to protect their contents and the majority of corporate networks does not audit what data a user copies to a local machine or attached device. Blocking USB ports would be a solution but it would prevent all devices from working. Capturing the opportunities, our customers would like to develop an application that allows administrator to grant or restrict permission rights to mount removable media devices to USB Ports and encrypt data when it saves to removable devices.

The new application was proposed to be developed within 4 months by C++ and
seamlessly be integrated into the existing centralized management system. Multiple languages and across Windows platforms are supported.
